This week sees the launch of the Pepper Technology Group’s (PTG) brand new website. The PTG, who represent British pepper growers, approached Media Street in June with a view to creating an online presence for themselves. The purpose of the site was to inform the general public of the nutritional value of peppers and the techniques which the growers use to make British peppers the tastiest in the world. They also wanted a recipe area filled with tasty treats and a kids’ corner, where children could go and play games as well as learn about peppers.
Other features of their site include a news area where all the latest events will be listed and a gallery where you can see the inside and outside of a wide variety of peppers in exquisite detail.
At the bottom of each page is the PTG’s very own ‘Pippa the Pepper’, who’s ready and waiting to help you find your way around the site and also share some of her ‘pepper knowledge’ with you.
