How to add a new user to Google Analytics

In order to track visitor statistics and website performance your Google Analytics account will need to be configured correctly.

Follow these steps to successfully add a new user to your Google Analytics account

  1. Log into your Google Analytics account here:
  2. Click on the admin tab located at the top of the pagestep 2
  3. Navigate to the Account “User Management”


N.B. If you do not see this section then you don’t have the correct permissions for the account and you will have to contact the person who manages (owns) this account.

To add a new user you will need to complete:

  • Enter email addressAdding a new user to GA
  • Tick all the boxes
  • Notify this user by email
  • Complete the sign up by pressing the “Add” button
